F10: Zac Posen

Zac Posen's Fall 2010 line was a medley of color combos: army green/goldenrod, burgundy/black, grey/orange/blue, purple/blue, red/prints. Mostly a collection of tailored and flirty dresses, fur coats and separates peeked in intermittently throughout the collection. The furs were the standout pieces for me, which is not an honor to applause. Why you ask? Because he's not known for his furs!!!! He's known for impeccably tailored dresses and gowns that contour the curves of the female form. Well, weren't there dresses? Yes, there were, but the caliber of dresses should be the question at hand. Some of the designs seemed outdated and repetitive, while some of the fabric choices made me go hmmmmmmmmm e.g. red velvet.....SERIOUSLY, I LIE TO YOU NOT! Many people stay he got too much notoriety, too soon and it went to his head. I hope this is not the true tale Zac because your a talented tailor, bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbut I need you to do better.........IMMEDIATELY! Check out some of my closet worthy picks and their evil stepsisters that need to be hidden in the basement......

MY FAVES
Flirtiness that easily can be dressed down with combat boots or up with studded booties or pumps

Falls fave neutrals face off - GREY vs. CAMEL - Loves it!

Like the color combo and cut, but the crotch emblem needs to...POOF...be gone!

Love the cut, not the jacket material. Possibly brocade or paisley to tone down the cheesiness of this silk?

It's fur............ENOUGH SAID!

Oh, another fur that I like (in my surprised voice)

And another one.....

Purple rain much?!?!

MY UNFAVES
Material looks cheap and the skirt is cut horribly.
END OF CONVERSATION.

Is that velvet?!?!?!

SERIOUSLY?!?!
